Happiness in Progress

May 23, 2018

Today Danielle Craig is talking to Artesha Downing-Spencer. Artesia lost her son when she was seven months pregnant. As you can imagine, it sent her to a dark place.

Through this unimaginable experience, she was able to find perspective and purpose. She started Peyton's Purpose, named for the son she lost. Through the organization she sends out care packages to women suffering pregnancy loss. These packages have gone all over the world.. as far as South Africa and New Zealand. She’s also been on “The Real” to talk about her non-profit.

In this episode, Artesha talks about what it was like to lose a child, finding purpose in his life and founding Peyton’s Purpose. Plus, there is a beautiful rainbow at this point in her story, the adoption of her second son, Mason.
