When you're stuck in the merry-go-round of life it is really easy to focus on the daily grind and not get a chance to breathe. Insert the overwhelm and burnout.
I used to be a live-for-Friday kind of person. On the newscasts I anchored I would say “Good morning - its Wednesday, halfway to Friday. It’s Thursday - you know, Friday-eve.”
But then when I got to Friday and the weekend - I would catch up on all the things I had been putting off during the insane previous five days.
